Hello from bella Italia! Jake and Jaqueline here. We will be on art adventures around Europe for a year or so. Our house in Tuscany - which we love very much is available for rent while we are away. Perfect for a painter, writer, artist and who ever loves Italy and wants a residency here. Renting for 6 month minimum period and only to cover costs really. Please! if you think this may be of interest to any responsible people you know, please pass it on ;) The house is in Borgo a Mozzano - 20 minute drive from the ancient town of Lucca - 1 hour from Pisa and Florence, which both have international airports. We are set just up in the hills, above the legendary 'Devils Bridge', and very close to amenities ( Supermarket, Restaurants and Pizzerias, Bar/Cafes, wine shops, Pharmacies, Swimming Pool, Gym, Bank etc..) Bus and Train station are all nearby - 3 minutes drive Another lovely town close to us is Bagni di Lucca (10 minute drive). Famous for its thermal baths and picturesque views, Bagni di Lucca is a centre of expats. Byron, Shelley, and the poets Barrett and Browning lived there too. It is also renowned for owning the first Casino in Europe (Thanks to Napoleon's Sister) where wealthy international characters have spent their summer time gambling in the past. Now it is less opulent, but still beautiful and there is a fantastic restaurant there where you can eat extremely well - Circolo Dei Forestieri. Lunches are only 11 euro including all courses. Amazing. There is Abetone ski resort 45 minutes away. And lots of beautiful towns and villages to explore up and down the Garfagnana Valley. A good place to go to the beach is Viareggio and all the Versilia area. There is central heating and a wonderful fire place in the kitchen. The whole house is furnished and fully equipped. There is one double room and one studio/bedroom. The price is 500 euro a month not including bills ( electricity, heating, gas, water). Come and enjoy it ! Ciao, Jake and Jaqueline
